Ashley Kita is a fine art and commercial photographer based out of Augusta, Ga. She started her photography journey in 2009 when she attended the Art Institute of Charleston, to major in photojournalism. In 2012, she graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Art.
In her belief, the art of photography shapes us and helps us grow into something we want to become. Being the eye behind the lens allows us to feel the subject's soul, whether it be a landscape or a person. She uses photography as a type of therapy when experiencing new things, whatever they may be. In that, communicating with photographs is better than using words.
